CULTURAL TOURS IN INDIA

Day1: Arrival at Delhi. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day2: Begin your tour with the historic city of old Delhi including the Red fort and the Jama Masjid, Rajghat, Quatab Minar, India Gate, Humayun's tomb and Lakshmi Narayan temple.

Day3: Drive to Mandawa (an old castle in Rajasthan). Explore the painted havelis on the ancient and the famous silk route. Visit the Samode, a small beautiful palace 42 kms from Jaipur, for a true rural experience.

Day4: Explore the Pink City of Jaipur including visits to the City Palace, the royal havelis, Jantar Mantar Observatory, Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, and countless others.

Day5: Move on to Agra to visit the famous monument of love- The Taj Mahal. Spend rest of the day doing whatever suits you best.

Day6: Explore other monuments of historical importance including Itmad-Ud-Daula's tomb and Red Fort. Visit the world-famous Taj Mahal again in the evening.

Day7: Take an early morning trip to Khajuraho, to visit the world famous temples of "Erotic Carvings".

Day8: Move on to Varanasi, the oldest and holiest city of India. Visit temples, Aurangazeb's Mosque and one of the biggest Universities of India.

Day9: Enjoy an early morning boat cruise on the river Ganges and watch a sea of humanity beginning their day with daily rituals.

Day10: Drive back to Delhi.

Day 01:
On Arrival in Delhi meet our representative & transferred to hotel. Free for local market shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast transfer to the city tour New Delhi and Old Delhi. Enjoy the delicious cuisine and visit magnificent monuments like Qutab Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, Jama Masjid, Rajghat and Shanti Vana. Relax during night in the Hotel.

Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur
By Surface: 278 kms, 6-7 Hours
On arrival, you will be meet our representative & transferred to hotel. Free for local market shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Jaipur
After breakfast, transfer to the city tour. Jaipur was founded by Raja jai Singh II, the 18th century Rajput king. Known as the Pink City, it is replete with magnificent palaces, forts and gardens, the Amber Fort and Palace. Set on a hill, Amber Fort was the capital of the princely state of Jaipur until 1728. The fort houses Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors), and several beautiful marble palaces. Visit the famous Hawa Mahal, or "Palace of Winds", Jaigarh and Nagargarh Forts. Also take a trip to the Jantar Mantar, one of the five observatories built by Raja Jai Singh II. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur to Agra
By Surface: 245 Kms, 4-5 Hours
After breakfast transfer to Agra & Fatehpur Sikri. Often referred to as "India's Pompeii", city of Fatehpur Sikri served as the capital of the Mughal empire from 1570 to 1586. Built by Akbar, the city was abandoned due to scarcity of water. The finest monuments within city area are the Diwan - i - Am, Diwan - i - Khas, Panch Mahal, Birbal's Palace, Buland Darwaza and the tomb of famous Sufi Saint Sheikh Salim Chisti. Buland Darwaza was built in 1575 to commemorate the exploits of Akbar in Gujarat. Also take an excursion to Itamad-Ud-Daula's tomb, precursor to the Taj Mahal. The tomb was built by Empress Noor Jahan, wife of Jehangir in memory of her father, Ghias-ud-din Beg, in 1622-25. Take a trip to the Agra Fort. Overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 06: Agra to Delhi
By Surface: 204 Kms, 3-4 Hours After breakfast check out the hotel and transfer to delhi.
